"Rebound to Health and Fitness on a Mini-Trampoline"
|
Rebounding exercise is a therapeutic movement of bouncing up and down on a rebounder or mini-trampoline. As a cellular exercise it benefits every joint and cell in the body equally. Anyone from young to old or sick can do rebounding exercise because it's very safe and low impact.
Everyone should exercise moderately at least 3-4 times a week as the body has an inbuilt need for activity. The lymphatic system carries nutrients to cells, carries waste products away and is very dependent on physical activity to do this as it has no pump like the heart. Without adequate physical activity, cells will starve for nutrients and stagnate in their own waste products. This situation strongly contributes to aging, cancer, arthritis and other degenerative diseases.
Rebounding exercise, bouncing up and down against gravity, greatly stimulates and increases lymph flow. Toxins are removed and absorbing nutrients delivered to the cells where they are converted to energy. As the lymphatic fluids circulate, the lymph system is cleansed, white blood count increased and the immune system strengthened. The cells will remain healthy and as a result the body as a whole will stay healthy since it is made up of cells. |

Begin rebounding exercise gently with feet remaining on the mat. This gentle bouncing sufficiently benefits and strengthens the entire body. Rebound for 5 minutes to begin and increase time as fitness improves. Older persons should start rebounding exercise gradually with 2 minutes a few times daily. This will give the connective tissue that holds internal organs in place time to strengthen. As your fitness improves, try jogging in place for a more vigorous exercise.
A rebounding exercise mini-trampoline is about 3 feet in diameter and 9 inches high. Purchase a good quality, preferably a quarter fold, rebounder as these are very stable and give a more solid bounce. Athletic shoes should be worn to provide support across the ankle and traction on the rebounder mat. Supportive clothing is also recommended for wear during exercise.
Rebounding exercise has so many other benefits other than activating the lymph system. Bones will strengthen, muscles will become strong and flexible, the body will be toned and slimmed due to increased metabolism. Tucking in the stomach while rebounding will help realign internal organs and lift them back into place. As blood circulation improves, the heart is strengthened making it work more efficiently. Hardening of the arteries can be prevented or reversed and circulating cholesterol/triglyceride levels lowered.
Rebounding exercise helps avoid the aging process by keeping your mind alert, skeleton flexible, skin smooth, liver detoxified and by producing growth hormone. Vision can be enhanced and balance improved as this cellular exercise stimulates all body cells including those of the eyes and inner ear. Rebounding exercise increases energy levels, improves mood, increases alertness, reduces depression, provides better sleep and makes you feel better about yourself.
Rebounding up and down against gravity exercises every part of your body requiring little effort with no trauma to the musculoskeletal system. Rejuvenate your body and put yourself in a state of mental and physical wellness while bouncing with rebounding exercises.
